CHANCES – Colour High-resolution Apophis Narrow-angle CamEra System

CHANCES is a high-resolution camera system being built by the Space Research & Planetary Sciences Division (WP) of the Physics Institute at the University of Bern for the joint ESA-JAXA mission RAMSES, scheduled to launch in 2028. RAMSES will rendezvous with the asteroid 99942 Apophis and accompany its safe but exceptionally close flyby of Earth in Spring 2029.
